Chapter Thirteen

Brendan snapped awake when the warm body beneath his jerked and let out a harsh grunt. He raised his head from their shared pillow. Romy’s eyes were scrunched shut, black hair fanning over them, still asleep. Dreaming. He grunted again. His hand shot out, reaching for something that wasn’t there. Or batting something away. Brendan skated his own hand out and curled it around Romy’s.

Romy settled, seeming to drift back to a calmer state.

“I got you,” Brendan whispered.

He didn’t expect Romy to say back, “I know you do.”

“Did I wake you?”

“I don’t think so. Dreaming.”

“You remember it?”

“Never really do. Mostly the feelings of it.”

“What were you feeling?”

“Sad. Annoyed. Not sure.”

“But you weren’t scared?”

“No.” He pulled their clasped hands up to his mouth and kissed Brendan’s knuckles. “Not scared at all. You?”

“Nope.” Brendan shifted a little, because his right leg was feeling kinda numb from not moving for hours. He came fully awake when he realized his morning wood was pressing right up against Romy’s backside in a not too subtle way. Crap. Should he pull away or pretend he hadn’t noticed? Romy sure had to have noticed.

“What time is it?” Romy asked.

He twisted his neck to check the alarm clock. “Little after four.”

“So we have time before we have to get up.”

“Time?”

Romy humped his ass back against Brendan’s hard on. “Time. If you want some help with that.”

“Depends.”

“On?”

Brendan freed his hand and skimmed it down Romy’s thin chest, stopping on his belly. “If you join in.”

Romy pushed Brendan’s hand further down, over his briefs, and it landed on another guy’s stiffening dick for the first time ever. “Wanna get me there?”

His chest hitched with the absolute trust and affection in Romy’s voice. Not quite sure how to do it for another guy, but sure what he liked himself, Brendan rubbed his hand over Romy’s cloth-covered dick a few times, trying it out. Romy pushed against his hand, then helped him by sliding those briefs right off.

Oh Lord Jesus.

He hesitated. He was pretty rough when he jerked himself off, and he didn’t want to hurt Romy.

“Don’t think about it so hard,” Romy said. “I’ll tell you if I don’t like it.”

“Can I suck you?” Brendan asked.

Romy hissed air through his teeth. “Fuck yes.”

Brendan pushed the blanket back and sat up.
